The music world was first introduced to the Barlow sisters and their personalities through Superchick's 2002 hit "Barlow Girls." A couple years later, Becca, Alyssa and Lauren Barlow created their own buzz releasing a self-titled debut that skyrocketed up the charts. Not the chick rock one would assume from their album cover, but instead these three siblings from Elgin, Ill. create weighty, genderless rock that has garnered them a handful of GMA nominations, including Best New Artist, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for their No. 1 hit, "Never Alone." They foll! owed that up with Another Journal Entry in late 2005, maintaining their message of being true to one's self, without feeling the need to conform as well as running an extreme but powerful version of purity up the flagpole, including their personal commitment to not date. These themes are woven deep into their albums as the girls write most of their own songs.
