It was Limp Bizkit who first stumbled upon fellow Jacksonville, Fla. band Cold, and it's easy to hear why Fred Durst was interested in producing the new discovery: the two bands share a penchant for harsh, aggressive Alt Metal delivered in a menacing fashion. But it's singer Scooter Ward's way with a Post-Grunge power ballad that opens up a world of possibilities for Cold. The potential for mainstream radio airplay looms large.
