Sony released Fey's debut album in 1995. She was a relatively untested pop singer, but the album went gold. Within five years, she had sold nearly five million albums and gained the appreciation of Latin pop fans everywhere. After a four-year hiatus, Fey returned in 2002 with the well-received Vertigo; La Fuerza Del Destino followed two years later.
