Of the many artists named Gus (two are Punk bands -- one from Florida, one from Canada), this singer-songwriter is the only one you're likely to hear on college radio stations, sandwiched neatly between Blind Melon and Bono's latest. He covers a number of bases, crooning easily and sweetly while retaining an upbeat rhythm.
