This young Texan singer grew up listening to everything from Motown and Philly Soul to mariachi, but when you hear him sing, you'll think of boy bandslike 'Nsync first and foremost. Hernandez loved to sing from a young age and when he was just 12 years old, he chose professional voice lessons over playingfootball. (Good decision.) Years of lessons and informal performances followed and when he sang in a contest at a local mall, he was the immediate pick tojoin local boy band Sons of Harmony. He struck out on his own when he was just 23 years old, releasing his debut on TVT Records in 2005.
